Congratulations to Abi McMahon! Abi was crowned the 2023 Little Miss Hartford on Thursday, June 15th, 2023. Abi is the daughter to Cody and Holly. Abi enjoys coloring, reading, singing, writing in her diary, planting, and playing in school sports. Abi wanted to be crowned Little Miss Hartford because she thinks it would be a lot of fun and would be very interesting! Congratulations again to Abi!
All girls who were in the 1st and 2nd grade this past school year and live in the West Central School district are encouraged to participate. The pageant will be held as part of the Jamboree Days festivities with the pageant being held on the Thursday before Jamboree Days. On that Wednesday evening, all contestants will meet the judges and participate in a rehearsal at that time. We will be getting you more details about that week when we get closer to the date.
Being Little Miss Hartford is a great honor and also a wonderful learning experience. As Little Miss Hartford responsibilities include representing Hartford in several Jamboree Day events. It will be lots of fun!
If you are interested in participating in the Little Miss Hartford contest this year, please fill out the entry form and return it to Hartford Jamboree Days, CO/LMH, PO Box 672, Hartford, SD 57033 by May 31st. Please include a picture of the participant for the newspaper along with the entry form. The picture will be returned to you the night of rehearsal.
